What child has not grown up pretending to be a swashbuckling pirate, a duelling Musketeer, or even the master of swordplay himself, Zorro? Why do they do it? Because it's fun!

Little Musketeers is a welcoming and friendly club giving young children from 3 years of age a fun and safe introduction to the exciting Olympic sport of fencing. We provide bright coloured foam and plastic equipment that is safe and yet hard enough to give children the real feel of fencing. We ensure visors are worn at all times giving piece of mind as well as that genuine fencing experience.

Unlike most other mainstream sports, fencing is far better at holding a child's interest and attention. Our courses offer a great balance of fencing activities and games to capture your child's imagination and improve fitness through the development of balance, speed, agility, hand/eye co-ordination and most important of all, confidence

Little Musketeers is run by Olympic fencer James Beevers. James is a 3rd generation of fencer emulating the success of his mother, father and grandfather, who all fenced at international and Olympic level. James started fencing at the age of 8, and has since gone on to win every British National title including being Senior National Champion 4 times. He has represented Great Britain at no less than 16 World Championships and was a member of the British Team at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.

James is fully CRB registered and a member of both the British and England Fencing Association. He is an officially accredited coach and insured through Sports Coach UK. James has undertaken all necessary First Aid and Child Protection courses. All our staff are CRB'd and trained personally by James.
